She was only eight, but ought to win, ought to outdo every other. I found that to be odd. But even more than she, it was her mother who wanted it, wanted all the fame, and so did her father, who didn’t seem to bother at all about her and just pushed her further and further.
She was a child star and the crowd was cheering, didn’t want to see, how the fame was reached, just wanted to see more and more of her. And so her childhood was wild, but she didn’t have one, it was gone, gone with the wind, the wind of fame.
